Course Description
This course introduces students to many of the basic principles of leadership and human behavior that effect managers when directing individuals and groups in organizations. In this course students will learn theories relating to individual differences in abilities and attitudes, attribution, motivation, group dynamics, power and politics, leadership, conflict resolution, and organizational culture. In addition, contemporary business leaders will also be studied. Upon successful completion of the course students will develop contemporary perspectives on ethics, networking, coaching, organizational culture, diversity, learning organizations, strategic leadership, and crisis leadership as it pertains to the business environment.

  4. Explain the importance and functions of goals in leading, inspiring, and motivating.
  5. Develop leader skills in decision-making and problem-solving when working with individuals, work teams, and diverse work groups to accomplish an organization's goals.

Grades earned below the minimum of 80 in all of the above courses will be awarded an F.

Grades earned below the minimum of 73 in all of the above courses will be awarded an F.
Grade Evaluation: Final grades evaluations are determined by a weighted average of course work.
